Ed Wang


Ed joined JGL in January 2024 and brings over 20 years of experience in food and retail management, contract management, marketing, and operations. Working through college at Seattle University, he earned his undergraduate degree in Fine Arts. He also earned a Sommelier & Cellar Master Wine Certification through Westin Hotels and went on to complete his graduate studies and master’s degree at Cornell University in Hospitality Food & Beverage Management. Ed is also a certified Food Management Professional and ServSafe Food Safety Instructor through the NRA.

During his post academic career, Ed worked for Compass Group, the world’s largest food and hospitality contractor for over 15 years in several marketing and operational leadership positions. Ed was the VP of Contract Services, serving as a client liaison for three Lehman Brothers sites in NYC. Recently, he served as Director of Operations for Princeton University and Regional Experience Manager for six CBRE properties for Ernst & Young.

Ed’s passions include cooking, dining, and consuming great food & wine, pizza, Pacific northwest seafood, and French & Asian cuisines. He also enjoys herb gardening, art, décor & design, nutrition, health & fitness,  and spy novels.

Ed’s favorite food is cassoulet, and he collects collegiate logo activewear from university bookstores.
