
Lisa Baptista
Lisa brings a unique combination of passion for food, operational expertise, business development and project planning to her role as a Consultant for JGL. Throughout her career, in various roles in the food service and retail industries, she has built a strong foundation in both hospitality operations and client relations.
Lisa began her career in retail and in 2010 entered the cultural attractions industry at the Roger Williams Park Zoo as the Gift Shop Manager for Wildlife Trading Company. Under her leadership, the unit consistently had year over year revenue and per cap increases. In 2012, she transitioned from Store Manager to holding dual roles as Director, Business Development and Project Manager for all new unit openings. She is most proud of leading the retail logistics for the Iditarod Race for several years.
In 2018, Lisa began her food service career with Elior North America, supporting Lancer Hospitality as their Director of Business Development. Following a corporate restructure in 2020, she went on to support business development for the Dining & Events Segment with a focus on professional dining and cultural attractions, supporting both Corporate Chefs and Lancer.
In 2022, she transitioned into the role of Director of Growth Enablement for Dining & Events, Elior North America, specializing in pre-opening and transitioning, new café buildouts and café renovations.
Lisa is always seeking opportunities to refine operations and strengthen client partnerships, ensuring success at every stage. With her broad skill set and dedication to hospitality, Lisa is a true team player committed to driving growth and organizational success.
Lisa’s favorite foods are poke bowls and sushi. Her favorite gift shop items are shot glasses and magnets.
