David McCallum
VP of Consulting Services, Principal ConsultantDavid McCallum has well over twenty years of experience in the food and beverage arena with core strengths in culinary, concept development, and operations. David served as Executive Chef at his Los Angeles restaurant Tangerine before joining Jackson Catering where he oversaw catering for countless celebrity events such as the SAG Awards, numerous VIP screenings at the Director’s Guild, and creating pop up restaurants at the Sundance Film Festival. He then moved on to serve as a Catering and Retail Operations Manager at the Los Angeles Convention Center. Following his love of the arts, his next two stints were as General Manager for food service management companies at major cultural institutions; first for Patina Restaurant Group at LACMA and most recently for Bon Appetit Management Company at The Getty Center and Getty Villa. David brings a depth of operational and strategic understanding with regard to the incredible potential and unique challenges of food services within cultural institutions. David has been part of team JGL since 2017.
David’s favorite meal is rijstaffel, and he loves to collect special exhibition art catalogues.
